The fellowship and its branches bring together as one family those people who strive to study, know, and realize the meaning of our human birth: Who is man? What is the nature of the human experience? What is the birthright of being human? What is our present state? What is our destiny? Who is God? What is the relationship between God and man?
The path of realizing answers to these questions is the constant affirmation that other than God, nothing exists. It is the continuing elimination of bad qualities from our state; it is the faith, determination, and the certitude to persist on this path; it is the deliberate, conscious effort to nourish the qualities of God, the patience, tolerance, peace, justice, love, and compassion for all lives. The fellowship has grown with the need to live this way.
We invite you to join us, share the teachings of M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen.
The fellowship in Toronto was established by Bawa Muhaiyaddeen in November of 1975 when he first visited and strengthened in April of 1976, his second visit here. The structure and purpose of fellowship life in Toronto, following his instructions, replicate as much as possible what he established at the central community in Philadelphia.
Within our collection in Toronto are hours and hours of audio and video recordings of formal discourses, spontaneous songs of praise, and informal question and answer sessions. Many of these talks have been compiled into more than thirty books. Recordings are played at public meetings held during the week and on the weekends.
The Sunday morning meetings are held at 951 Wilson Avenue, 19 L. beginning at 10:30 and are followed by a vegetarian meal. Weekly Wednesday evening meetings begin at 7:30 PM, Friday evening Zikr meetings at 7:30 PM and Youth meetings starting at noon on the second Saturday of each month are all streamed on ZOOM. Please contact us for details - everyone is welcome. Please come.

The central branch of The Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was Bawa Muhaiyaddeen’s (Ral.) residence while he was in the United States until his passing in December 1986. His presence is still very much alive here, and it remains the epicenter of the fellowship community.
The main building serves as a meeting house where people gather to learn from the teachings and example of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.). Visit them at http://bmf.org.
